The Summer Isles bar or the Smiles, is a small pub with dining area. Seating around 20 people, it is part of The Summer Isles hotel but has its own entrance to the right of the hotel. It has a laid back vibe and the space is often shared with locals enjoying meals out or drinks with friends. Here you will find a good selection of drinks including specially chosen house wines which change annually and a nice selection of Scottish gin, whiskey and locally brewed ales on tap. We recommend booking a table for dinner, but walk-ins are usually welcomed. There is also a pub garden to enjoy a drink outside on sunny days. The bar is dog friendly.

Arrive early and have a drink in the relaxing lounge area with a large selection of whiskey and wine before being shown to a table in the restaurant to sample some top notch local cuisine including sea food fresh from the sea you look out upon whilst eating dinner. Altandu

It’s name means ‘welcome to the well,’ the traditional, cosy west coast bar is full of character. Situated about 5 miles from The Sleepy Crofter in Altandu. The food has a homemade feel with great pies, steak and seafood options. The pub also has live streamed sports, a pool table, cosy fire and jukebox. The bar floor can often turn into a dance area! We suggest booking early as dining is often busy but the pub also take walk-ins if there is room. There is also an outdoor seating area where you can eat, drink and bring your dog.
